4 Joined Solid Squares
thingiverse
Take four solid squares with a unit side length and an elevation of 2/3. When you join them at their horizontal or vertical facets, you get eighteen distinct pieces that can be utilized to build a wide variety of shapes. Since the height of three squares is equivalent to the width of two squares' square faces, rectangular faces can make contact in these constructions.
