I just added captive nuts to make the surface smooth, I found when using prusament spools the honeycomb catches the protruding nut and screw, use M3x15 with one space or MM3x16 with 2 spacers and it should be flush and not catch the spool any more. Attaching the f3d file to give you the ability to adjust the captive nut size for your printer's tolerance.
