This is a basic debris filter for use on a 7.5mm O/D pipe (other connections can be produced on request including the 6mm hose screw lock found on my twist lock couplings) the filter is 20mm in diameter and 30mm tall (not including the hose attachment point) Print instructions: Mesh: the mesh is probably unsuitable for PLA printing as it needs to be fairly flexible but you're more than welcome to try. The mesh has been somewhat problematic for me and I'm not sure if it's the design or my printer! if you have issues with how this is printing please let me know! first of all THIS WILL NOT SLICE correctly as standard. Once imported into the slicer gradually increase it's scale by 1% each time until it slices correctly. Cura required 2% increase before it would slice properly. the main thing with this, is to not use ABS slurry or any bed adhesion method that can't be dissolved away by a quick rinse in water. I printed successfully with nothing but a clean glass bed. printed in ABS 240C ext 110 bed (no adhesive, no brim) 50 mm/s 0.2mm layer height (it wont work at 0.3) print time:8 mins housing: prep as any other print Printed in ABS no supports 40mm/s 0.2mm layer height 100% infill print time: 45mins. to assemble, i used a cotton bud to paint acetone onto one of the legs and stuck the mesh to it, then slowly worked my round.
