*New 4020 fan for hemera, using original SWX1 fan. Made stronger, no warps upto now through testing a 2 day print. **Print with supports on build plate only. *** NewFanV3.9 This is the fan I use on my Sidewinder X1 with hemera. (link to youtube showing it in use, does eventually zoom in after a few seconds, I say zoom but I was actually filming the gantry supports, but you do see the fan in action) https://youtu.be/HYU36K6NaIE There are several versions to choose from. I have used all apart from the 5015-needs3mmScrew - so I could maybe have the fan mount holes in the wrong place. I use the rubber band ones as it is quick and easy to change and take off for maintenance. I currently use the 5015-fan-extraFan as it is very light. All give plenty of clearance to view the print as it happens which is what I wanted. I hated the fan blowers that blocked my view. Used loads, then decided to make my own. Just a rubber band used and away you go. I printed with standard support - BUILD PLATE ONLY - and used 'lines' for the support and roof, makes it easy to pull off. I printed in PLA. Which I found to be very good because after a few prints it warps slightly inwards towards the nozzle. Aiming the air much better. Having tried all types, in PLA, they all warped (very slightly) in the same direction to make a perfect fit. I couldn't have planned it better, Anyway, let me know what you think. My first attempt and is working well and wow the visual clearance to see the layers being laid down as it happens without the view being blocked is worth it alone.
