40mm Compact Blast Gate for a dust extraction shop vac system (version 2)

<p>I looked around for a 40mm blastgate design to use in a dust extraction system. I found a couple but all of them were pretty big and stuck out from the pipe a fair distance, they also required alot of hardware to make them work.</p><p>I made this to be ultra compact, no hardware needed and wall mountable.</p><p>Its depth is aligned to the pvc 40mm pipe brackets, so no additional packing or adjustment is required to mount it on the pipe run.</p><p>The model is a revised version 2, removing the hardware requirement and changing the blast shield to a vertical slot</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I have included several other models also used in this dust extraction install:<br>&nbsp;</p><p>40mm end cap</p><p>Wall mount pvc to vac tube mount point</p><p>Wall mount vac tube end cap</p><p>50mm cyclone to 38mm vac tube adapter</p><p>Dust guide for the 40mm/shopvac tube wall mount (optional based on the type of material you're vacuuming)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Nothing <i>needs</i> supports to function, however i did supply the blastgate as gcode/3mf with the support enforcers and orientation needed to make support detatchment as good as possible, i opted to print this part with supports.</p>
