This 40mm fan cover is designed to be like a wire fan cover. Other patterns such as honeycomb or overly tight concentric rings introduce annoying fan noise frequencies. This design introduces minimal noise while still keeping your fingers and tools out of the spinning fan. Print settings: Use a thicker wall thickness of 0.6mm. Avoid printing any gap-fill or similar. Then you can get a fast print of under 10 minutes.
