Fan intake trumpet for 40mm fans. Need two empty mounting holes. Use wood glue or even teflon for a tighter fit if necessary. I noticed almost all of my 40mm fans created a torus of air rotation on the outter edges of the blades from poor manufacturing/design margins. This just kept air moving on the outside of the fan, and did not push as much air through as it should have been. The trumpet adds inlet velocity and proper directional flow vectors to increase efficiency. Perfect for your filament cooling fans that have small outlets. Normally those styles reduce fan throughput flow enough that the torus flow effect is increased, so adding a trumpet increases cooling ability! I recomment printing with ABS and doing some acetone smoothing to the surface for decreased wall roughness.
