The previous design has obvious design flaws that would restrict airflow. I have changed to a plate to plate cone chamfer design, to promote better airflow and have also reduced mount plate thickness to cut down print times & material usage. I've made available 6 different sizes in this new revision. **Printed with pillar supportsChanges: - Plate to Plate cone chamfer design (better airflow) - Removed Inner ridges (better airflow) - Halved mount plate thickness (reduce print time/less material) Update (March 2015) After multiple test prints, I've found it difficult to get a clean print due to unsupported over hangs, though i did manage to get a usable print. Additionally because of the design its difficult to mount the E3D v6 shroud as you lack space for your screw driver. I will address these issues with a revision of the design soon. Notes: I designed this because I wanted more air flow to E3D V6 heat sink but didn't want to part with the injection molded shroud. So this bolts to it and allows you to mount a 40mm fan at the other end. Next Revision will include: - Thinner walls to maximize airflow - Remove ridges on inside - Thinner mount plates to reduce overall size Instructions Modeled in AutoCAD
