40V Ryobi Battery Connector

40V Ryobi Battery Connector

This build is a variant of the work by SorrowBJD which addresses the problem of not being able to find the correct metal leads needed to complete his version by adding angled "fingers" which are aligned to perfectly fit into the battery terminals. There are also now holes on both sides of the fingers to allow for passing wire through. By threading a 4" or 5" bit of solar cell tabbing up, over, back down and then soldering it back to itself on the bottom, we create a very simple and inexpensive lead extension to which it's easy to solder wires to. The fingers fit snuggle against the terminals now and power can be easily drawn off.
