<p>The Answer.</p> <p>Also, just having fun trying out a some 3D CAD and printing ideas. More versions on the way.</p> <p>This one : 42 Stamp</p> <p>This print has two parts - a handle and a replaceable "stamp head." The idea was to create a generic stamp design in which different stamps could all work with the same handle design.</p> <p>In addition to being a "42" print, this print was a test for making a "rubber stamp." I wanted to see if printing the actual stamp part in FLEX would work better than just a PLA print. To do this, I edited GCode so that I could print partly in PLA and partly in FLEX. I also printed a PLA only stamp for comparison.</p> <p>For more on printing with mixed filament types, see this print :</p> <p><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/42973-mixed-filament-type-test-print">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/42973-mixed-filament-type-test-print</a></p> <p>As it turned out, the FLEX stamp and PLA stamp worked about equally well; if anything, the PLA stamp worked a bit better.
