Designed to have a small footprint on the main rail, so that it fits behind or in front of your scope. Specifically designed to fully support the holosun 507 pistol red dot, which has the same footprint as an RMR.

After printing all the 45 degree offset mounts, I found they either did not work at all (wrong dimensions of picatinny) sit well or fit well for my intended purpose. The only one that came close is this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1213119 but it was too wide in the base and too narrow in the mount part, so the red dot overhangs on both sides. Also, I wanted heftier screws and 2 securing points rather than 2. Finally, to ease instalation, the nut holes are on the top, so they dont fall out when mounting.

Use 2 M4x30 bolts (minimum lenght 28mm maximum 32mm) and 2 m4 nuts.

Check the image for ideal print orientation for best surface finish and strength. I printed with some supports, but maybe you can get away with less. 3 perimeters (0.6 nozzle) and 50% infill, with ColorFabb XF-20 (carbon fiber filled) filament. Should work with any other filament as well, would just stay away from PLA due to heat.
