45 Degree Table Saw Jig Thing

45 Degree Table Saw Jig Thing

This is a tool i made for a friend. The challenge was to fabricate picture frames on a table saw. To make the frame, it was necessary to cut 4 pieces of wood under an angle of 45 degree. Therefore, a Holzmann table saw was used, but the included angle jig (i'm not sure whether this is the correct word for this!?) was really not the best tool. So i made this thing in Fusion 360 and printed it on an Anet A8, it took about 17h, if i remember that correct, so i used a brim to prevent warping. The slot on which this tool has to slide on the table saw is around 20mm wide, i made it a little bit bigger, so you have to sand it until it fits good on your machine slots. As you can see on the picture, we used double sides tape to secure the woodpiece, you could also use a clamp for example. Have fun with this tool and perhaps someone can tell me, whether this thing has a certain technical english name...
