For more info, watch the project's Youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnL0r0tSVdk Building instrucions: After you print all of the parts, you will need a lens from google cardboard, a black marker and some thin black cardbord. Press fit the glass lens into the glass holder. Use a small amount of super glue if needed. Then cut out a circle with diameter of 29mm. Punch a small 5 mm hole in the circle. This will be the aperature of the lens. If you printed the main body part in black PLA, you can skip the next step. I printed mine with white PLA, so had to make the interior black; that way the light doesn't bounce around. I used a black sharpie and some black cardboard. Disclaimer: This lens is not meant to be a lens that you would use every day. It is bulky, very hard to focus and the image quality is inferior too. Building one has more of an educational purpose. You will learn more about how lenses and optics work and overall you'll gain a better understanding of how a camera functions. In the end you will be proud that you have created your very own lens! If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message! Best of luck!
