4Dm8or Mini 3D print model

The 4Dm8or Mini is 75% the size of the 4Dm8or original. This model has never been uploaded to CGtrader before and qualifies for the Christmas 3D Printing Challenge. This is a completely different model from the original size 4Dm8or. The stop-motion advance mechanism is precisely made and depends on critical clearances for the gears and working parts. This is not a simple 75% reduction. Many of the components of this model had to be readjusted after being reduced 75% to maintain precise clearances. This model has been printed numerous times and works perfectly (see video). In fact, this smaller version works better than the original. Due to it's lower mass, it has a smaller moment of inertia allowing for smother stop-motion 4D animation. This model is less expensive than the original, which affords customers the best possible price for such a complex and beautiful 3D printable model. 3D print it here
