I purchased a wall-mounted assortment box with multiple compartments inside. Each compartment can be separated by a small plastic divider card, and up to three divisions are possible per card. Five of these cards come packaged with the assortment box. I also found out that you can buy ten of these cards for approximately 3€, but unfortunately, this is not feasible for me since the assortment box contains 36 compartments. As an electronics enthusiast who likes to salvage parts from old devices, I need a way to organize and categorize them efficiently. Initially, I designed one of these divider cards, but then decided that placing individual boxes within the main compartment would be more practical. This way, I can easily remove a single box, reorganize my collection quickly, and even label each box with stickers. This is useful because I plan to use barcodes and software to index my components. I have numerous parts in small quantities, so I decided to create a custom box that fits four times within the original compartment. Additionally, I designed a "6-time box," but it's not very practical without emptying the entire compartment or using tweezers to access the contents. The assortment box was purchased at Hornbach, a German hobby store and hardware retailer. The box itself does not have any brand markings; instead, it's simply labeled as "Made in Germany." I also designed custom boxes for two and three compartments each.
