4x4 Keypad Cover (snap tight cover) for RobotDyn pad

Hey kids - I found these 4x4 RobotDyn keypads (resistor ladder type) with three pins and had to get them cause they were cool and need one analog input (not counting vcc and grnd) to functionate. They come well packaged but because they are snap on buttons there is a lot of funky and sloppy play in them and they look really grodie without a cover - so I made one. you're welcome! A few things: 1) here is the keypad ($3.50ish USA): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Button-Keypad-module-4x4-Analog-pin-connection/32635207928.html 2) This summary thing will have a ton of parenthetical content - (you've been warned) 3) this 'cover' is way easier to apply, coax, if you remove the buttons from this 4x4 (yes on this one [link above] they pull straight out (but what do i know if you bust it don't look at me! ) ) sometimes you will just accidentally pull off the clear cap (where underneath you can insert your printed art work or button number/letter etc) So remove all the buttons first. The first time I snapped this contraption on i almost cried well i also cut myself bad which might have also made me sad too, some. 4) carefully snap the thing over it (it goes one way only!) The gap is the top where it covers the connector and avoids the resisters. This is really hard to get on [I seem to have found a sadistic maker side] (please be wicked careful on the little razor sharp solder joints on the back cause - ouch and also bleeding. 5) NOW for a warning: short of hurling this at concrete to remove (which I don't recommend) - THIS FACE GRABBER IS ON THERE FOR GOOD! so please, please make sure you get all your stuff together and put the labels into your buttons cause you will have to pry this to get it off later (yeah i know cause i had to do it) 6) this is intended to be silicone'd down (see the small ridge around the entire thing where you would cut a hole in the console or what have you and glue around the hole then drop this thing in) honestly mine are so tightly snapped I wont even be screwing the circuit board down when I assemble it) [also the ridge around is tiny, like 1.5mm. why? because I am an idiot that's why. So measure this carefully before you cut a too huge hole in your Aunt Bettie's antique, obsidian, laminated console] 7) nope - no more stupid innumerated crud. there you go! ps. included in the zip is the Sketchup file too (it's got some wiggy-ness [coplanar {aka little triangles from hell} issues] in it) so you might not be having such a great time to edit it. (wow that had some nesting in it eh?) snuggly push-buttony hugs!
