Hey folks, Props to all individuals (cyul, misan specifically, and several others - too many to mention) for all their work in creating such a wonderful machine! I seem to keep needing to modify these incredible tinkercad models to be a little more suited to what i'm trying to do with them. (For example, sleek and small isn't my goal. Zero play, stable, works every time, even with longer rod lengths, etc. is my goal.) Therefore, i wanted to put up a page where these mods can go. Please let me know anytime if there's a suggestion for a change that needs to be made or something that can make an already fabulous machine even more functional. Below i will list change logs, in inverse order. I'll try to include both STL and OBJ (tinkercad) versions of each item. If you'd like to further edit these parts, you're welcome to do that, but do me a favor and link me as a remix so i can find them. Who knows, maybe your version is better and i can pop a link in the description to your part. If you experience any problems whatsoever printing or using these files, please, drop me a note. There may be something that can be done easily that may fix you up quickly - and i'd like to help and give back to this community if i can. <br><br> <b>04-18-2019:</b> Y_end_LM8UU_Thicker: I took this great part: <b>https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1853201</b> and remixed it to have the same thicker walls and wider footprint that my original modified Y endstop had. This one uses LM8UU bearings, but had the original skinnier footprint. I made it have more clamping surface area and no holes. Credit goes to the author - Thingiverse user 'gigl'. Thank you very much for a great part i could modify! REMEMBER, if you use this, you're going to need to print out the pen carriage directly from the remix URL as i did not need to modify that one at all to use this part. <br><br><br> <b>04-01-2019:</b> No april fool's jokes here, nope! First mod i'm posting is a remix of cyul's new Y endstop v2 version. All i did was made the clamping area a little thicker so it would print more cleanly and not leave holes - it also increases the surface area and thus clamping ability) so the Y clamps don't break as easily when overtightened. I also add 2mm to each end. the part is slightly fatter and less round. It'll get the job done for what i need, and i hope you all like it too.
