The Uutabai people, known simply as ‘seabears’ by outsiders, are a species of beastfolk native to Valerna’s frozen north coasts. While not aggressive, they are veryterritorial, and rarely welcome foreigners or intruders. A seabear looks like a large, furred biped, with clawed hands and the head of a tusked elephant seal. They often add heavy clothing to their own fur coat, and complement their frightening claws with forged weapons.
