These are simple lever arms that can be press fit over any Takahashi Telescope single speed focus knob. They operate on the principle of extending the diameter of the knob. I press fit these over the Tak knob (left or right side provided). The fit is very snug to remove any slop. Make sure you have clearance. They may not work on larger scopes like the TOAs due to clearance. The center hole IS NOT used to insert the Tak center screw, instead it is for access to this screw in case you need to loosen it to allow for situations where full rotation is not possible. It also allows you to push the lever off the knob when you want to remove it (the fit is that snug) I recommend printing these in PETG, as that will provide dimensional accuracy. (Neither ABS nor PLA will accomplish that...leading to too loose or too tight a fit) INSTALLATION: IMPORTANT: Because of the snug fit, it is highly recommended to remove the focuser knob first and place on a flat sturdy surface. Keep the screw in place. Carefully press the lever arm onto the focus knob, taking care not to let the screw fall between the lever arm recess and the knob. TO REMOVE: Unscrew the knob, lever from the focus pinion shaft. Using a good quality phillips screwdriver of the correct size, insert the end into the lever arm hole and engage the screw. Press out the tak know/screw by pushing on the driver handle...you can do this against your body or a sturdy surface. Proceed slowly.
