5/16" Wingnut Socket Driver

5/16" Wingnut Socket Driver

thingiverse

This tool is used to drive 5/16" UNC wingnuts onto bolts and studs using a 3/8" socket drive. I had a job that required me to assemble around 400 wingnuts. So I designed and printed this tool which when paired with a cordless drill, made quick work of that project. The nuts were held nicely with the tool allowing me to position the drill as needed without worry of dropping the nut. **Note:** I have been very pleased with this design, so I am going to add more sizes. Also I will upload a properly scaled version. Keep an eye out for them. **Update** I have uploaded a properly scaled version of the STL file. You should now be fine to print it at 100% scaling. Also, I have created a 1/4" version that can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6139544
