5.25" Floppy Drive Enclosure

This is an enclosure for a 5.25" Floppy disk drive. It contains a bottom part and a top (cover) part. You will need a printer, which can print more than 23cm in height. I printed my cover part using Spectrum PLA Premium Ivory Beige, which seems to be a reasonable retro-colour. For the bottom part I just used a black PLA. To assemble, you will need 4 screws of type #6-32 3/8" UNC screws, which are available on Amazon. These screws fits into the mounting holes on the bottom of the floppy drive. You will also need some rubber-feet to avoid the screws scratching the surface where you place it. It's a long print - expect around 17 hours for the top cover alone. I used a brim when printing as it came loose without it.
