This is a camera mount for a 5.5mm Borescope/Endoscopic USB Camera for the Printrbot Play. This camera mount fits on the back of the Extruder. The USB Camera rides along with the Extruder as it is printing so you can get a good view of what is happening with the 3D print. This part has an open slot down one side and 4 circular holes from top to bottom along the length of the shaft to improve air flow to the USB Camera. When the LED lights are on the camera will get warm and generate heat depending on the brightness level of the LED lights. Watching the 3D printing process up close on a large screen monitor makes things more interesting. Borescope/Endoscopic USB Cameras can be found at a low cost by searching the Internet. You can use Free WebCam software packages to view video generated by the USB Borescope/Endoscopic Camera. This part was designed using the Free version of the eMachineShop Software Package.
