5-Ago (Modular Stone Placement Game Board)

thingiverse

This is a modular game board with slots cut out for placing stones or marbles. I’m sure you could use this with any assorted stone placement game (go, tic-tac-toe, or whatnot). I’m using this to learn what the friends and I decided to call “5-ago” you can read about the similar commercial game Pentago at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentago or http://www.pentago.se/ENRules.pdf Instructions As I intended the stones to stay in place when the board is being moved(a move in Pentago involves rotating a quadrant of the board), they don’t come out easily unless the board is dumped out. If you’re playing a game where the stones are frequently removed, you should consider modifying them. I was in a hurry when I printed these so the size is smaller than some people may like. Scale it up if you see fit.
