Bush, served 2000-2008, Republican party Presidential Role: Chief Citizen Presidential Act:What was the specific act he did Helping America reunite and rebuild after a significant terror attack, the President, used the bullhorn to address the people in the rubble of the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.People in the rubble, or the first responders/ America in General? What did he say? when was this speech? Impact on America: ** What did President Bush do as a result of the attacks of September 11th? How do you think his experience at Ground Zero reflects this? He addressed the people that he will implement new laws and acts that help ensure our nations security. Airports have increased security regulations and the US has improved background checks. I wanted to research this artifact because it was used during a critical point in American history. It was used as a means it signified unity and togetherness of the American people and their president during a time of cruelty and injustice during gruesome attacks by terrorists on our homeland.
