5 slots 1.25'' filter wheel for telescope.

There's some fine threads in this part (M42x0.75 and M28.5x0.6) so you need a fine tuned 3D printer. Adding "post stretch script" post processing in Cura helps to print threads in good dimensions.

TO DO FIRST:

In order to avoid waste of time and materials, I've added 2 test-prints to let you tune your printer before print the whole thing and to be assured that you can correctly print the threads.

The wheel is assembled with a central M3 screw and a small spacer with 'nylstop brake' nut not too tightened. The cover can be assembled in 3 ways:

Use "boitierv2.stl" and assemble with 4x M3 screws, nuts and spacers (simplest).

Use "boitier.stl" case and add 4x M3 thread inserts in the existing holes with a soldering iron for example.

Use "BoitierV3" (print with no supports) and assemble with 4x M3 screws. Hex nuts will take place in hex footprints in the bottom (best cosmetic).

Keep in mind this is not a metal part, so don't stress the threads with heavy parts like DSLR or other accessories. This part is designed to fit at the end of the imaging train, and then to support a little lightweight camera like uncooled ZWO ASI for example. You can secure it with a little cord fore more security.

The little square window you can see on the face cover can let you know the selected filter, for this you can stick numbers on the filter holder.

Hope you'll enjoy
