Where I live, if your shift knob is aftermarket or even worn down, you can be ticketed. This badge is meant to be attached with doubled-sided 3M tape to the dash or center console. It must be easily visible to the driver. I've painted it with Acrylic to make it look better and coated it in Mod-Podge to give it a gloss finish (it looks better in person than the pictured macro shot.)
