$5 WiFi Light Switch: In Wall Sonoff Light Switch Box

This is a box for a Sonoff Basic that mounts inside existing light switch housing. This is a remix of the 530_Projects DIY In-Wall Sonoff Light Switch. His version uses an additional circuit board to trigger GPIO pins on the Sonoff. This version is only 3d printed. This version requires no other parts other than what is printed. It uses a diving board mechanism to actuate the button on the Sonoff when the light switch it flipped. Because of this, it functions like a 3-way switch, cycling the relay regardless of previous position of the switch actuator. Instructions: 1)Print 1 of each file. 10% infill no supports for the case_back, case_front, and button_board. The switch_actuator requires supports and should be printed at 25% or greater infill. Print the button_board with the cup facing up for best results. 2) Assembly: there is a small slot in the case_back where the button_board end gets inserted with the small cup facing the back, furthest from the wall, see picture (it secures the end of the button), it is intentionally a tight fit, so you may have to file it a little to get it to work. Next, remove the Sonoff from its factory casing and slide it into the case_back with the notched end first. Lift the button_board to make sure it slides all the way in and that the cup on the button_board is surrounding the top of the button. Place the switch_actuator into the case_front. The hyperbolic tab on the back of the actuator will push the button_board up and down. Wire the Sonoff and then attach the front of the case to the back. MAKE SURE THE BUTTON IS NOT PRESSED WHEN YOU TURN ON POWER TO THE SONOFF (it will go into flash mode).
