This is the "Engine" imagined for matched to "10 inches Fan Module", I made before.All parts are newly designed to rotate HP and LP spool by small motor and to incorporate necessary components of engine.A. The features of "GTF" Engine are as follows.a. “Fan Module - 10 inches”, Please refer to my model of the following URL. https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-geared-turbofan-engine-gtf-10-inch-fan-module-103191 b. “Engine Module” ① Major Sections LPC (3 stages), HPC (8 stages), Annular Chamber, HPT (2 stages), LPT (3 stages)② Fully Metal Bearings are used for each rotors.③ Rotational Devices are added (HP and LP individually by 6V Battery) For HP Spool, 2 types of Devices are prepared (Belt drive and Bevel Gear Drive) To get to avoid rubbing rotating rotors, the cord of stator and nozzle vanes are reduced.④ External peripheral parts for explanation are added. Assembly Manual (PDF format, total 31pages)The detail assembly manual including "Parts-List", "After printing treatment" and "Assembly procedure" are prepared based on "Standard Skill (Filing, Drilling, Tapping and painting)". D. Purchase Parts Information; 1. Bearings 6804ZZ (20x32x7) (4ea), WBC6-12ZZ (6x12x4) (2ea, Bevel Gear Device only)) 2. AL Pipes φ9 and φ12 and Piano Wire φ1 3. Screws - Micro screws M1.4x3.5L & M1.4x6L - Direct screw-in to 1 mm dia hole (No nut). But if you have the M1.4 Tap, it will be very useful. - Screws M2 x ** - See Parts List - Size, quantity and length of screws can be adjusted by your experience. 4. Micro-Motor - "Uxcell" geared motors purchased from "Azon-Japan" are used. They are very small, dimension is shown in photo. - Base of motor are designed as separated parts, other small motor may be used if you designed for it. - Power supply for these, please prepare yourself. 5. Timing Belt - "Belt Drive Device" only - "Mitsuboshi" Timing Belt, B102MXL3.2G, Length: 207.26mm is used. - But common rubber band may be used if HP spool friction is very low. E. STL file Total STL files are 84 items including the stand and tools. “ws” of last 2 digits of file name means “With Support” special designed. F. Total Net Print Time: Approx. 120 HR - (Estimated as case of PLA, 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.3mm Layer Height, 20% infill and No raft and support) Note: When at actual print, each parameter may be adjusted by your experience. G. Printing settings Raft, Support, Layer Height, Infill: Depending on your experience. My models were printed by "idbox" using with 0.4 nozzle, 1.75 PLA. [Update] 2019.11.26"Option01"1.
