50mm lens tripod mount

I needed to support my big old 300mm and 400mm telephoto lenses. I printed in PLA at 20% - when mounted at a neutral balance point it's not under much stress. I printed with support touching build plate. I tapped a 1/4-20 UNC nut into the recess for the tripod thread. My nut was 11.50mm measured across flats. This was a tight fit and is very secure. I used drywall screws for the two halves, you could print at 100% infill and then drill these out for whatever fastener you wanted.
