This is an enclosure for an amplifier for amateur radio. It is part of a comprehensive project covering all major aspects of an efficient DIY design, leading to a minimalistic, but field deployable device. Its main characteristics are: * 30 to 50 W output * 2 to 2,5 W input * 12 V to 14 V supply * Works 40 m to 20 m bands, expandable * Harmonics Suppression via LPF * PTT (active low) * Passive cooling, ready for active venting * Time required for building: 6 to 8 h * Total hardware cost: approx. 50 € The technical design is based on an amplifier kit which is readily available online at favorable terms. Compliance with regulations is ensured by adding switchable low-pass filters for which a PCB layout is provided. Last but not least this 3D printed enclosure provides convenient mounting and protects the whole system.
