Nothing special, I just got myself a Canon 100mm USM MACRO lens with a 58mm lens cap thread, and my ring flash had a largest 54mm thread, so I just designed a 58mm diameter cylinder in blender and subtracted a 54mm diameter cylinder from it. My printer is not the best, so I had to file it down both sides with a dremel, but in the end it perfectly got the job done.
