55mm inlet

55mm inlet

thingiverse

This print was created to protect wires going through a 55mm hole in sheet metal. It can be also used for holes that are deep. If the metal sheet is thinner than 2mm, you should scale the part by 1.05. There is a groove on the back face, so that any residue from cutting the metal would not affect how the print sits on the sheet. Second there are four grips that are design to hold the part in place. They move about one millimeter when 5nm force is applied. Stress of the movement is applied to a large area, not just at the bottom of the grip, to prevent the grip from snapping off.
