The filter sits on the nice flat shelf between the main body and containment ring. I printed it threads facing the printing plate with supports on. I was unable to get Fusion 360 to give me a thread pitch of 0.75, so I went with 1.5. It works well and threads over the top of my UV filter. I acquired a 12"x12" sheet of safe solar paper from Thousand Oaks Optical and cut it to size. http://thousandoaksoptical.com/shop/solar-filters/silver-black-polymer-sheets/ If anyone knows how to create 58x0.75 threads in F360, please let me know.
