5DF Spool Adapter with 608 bearing

thingiverse

I've printed a few 5DF spool hubs and so far between strength and speed of printing, the Small spool support (5 Dollar Filament) has my heart, but I'm using smooth 5/16" rod so a standard 608 bearing is super nice to have, it holds things square (enough) and obviously rolls well. Soo I simply updated mrice's design and added a 22.05mmx7mm hub and took out a bit more plastic, because let's face it, it doesn't need to support that much weight, and it allows you to add a nut/bolt weight to stop it from unspooling itself when left unattended :D Use cheap 'stiff' or grease packed bearings for best results, these little 5DF spools have some spring to them! Print Settings Printer: Anet A2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 40% Cubic 3D Notes: Nothing much to add, sliced in Cura, used the amethyst in 1.75 (and it's very transparent, more so than the photos give credit even better at 0.1 res!) How I Designed This Imported the stl from mrice's thing into tinkercad and made my changes! Feel free to pick up where I left off and make it your own!
