Video of mag cycling: https://youtu.be/6KEcjJqD2ds Got tired of searching for a AICS mag that wasn't a billion dollars. I liked Kull_Damned's design but wanted something with feed lips that were more stable, and a bottom that would never come off unless desired. It is more bulky in comparison. This only works for 6.5mm creedmoor and AK-74 mag springs. I suggest these https://www.gunsprings.com/AK-74/AK-74/cID2/mID141/dID436 If you cut the spring to short I have included a spring tension adder that reduces the internal capacity by roughly 6mm each. For me it comes out to around $5 each, much better than $40 retail. I have included the .3MF, .STEP, and 2021 .SLDPRT files if you wish to edit them. They .SLDPRT files may be finicky to open, just play with them and they will work. Sorry if they are designed strangely in the file tree, to make the models I put the .STL in fusion 360, Insert>mesh, Mesh>prepare>general face groups, Fast to accurate, Modify>convert mesh, Operation=parametric, method=prismatic. They were then exported as .STEP files, taken into solidworks and saved as .X_T files, which were then reopened in solidworks and I applied the auto recognize feature function. This is the only way I know to make .STL files into .SLDPRT files with editable trees. I'm still making some adjustments, but it has not failed me shooting yet. Also please dont rely on this in a high stake scenario. i designed these to not waste time/effort reloading at the range, not for hunting/defense. Why not [dif cal here]: i dont own a rifle in that and cant test it to ensure it will function. Why 10 rounds? Why not? Can you do [this design] on the sides?: sure if its easy simple and i like it, leave a comment.
