$6.50WW2 Japanese Battleship Nagato

myminifactory

The Nagato class were a pair of battleships built for the Imperial Japanese Navy towards the end of the WW1, although not finished until after.   The ships were modernised in 1933-1936 with improvements made to their armour, machinery and a rebuilt superstructure in the Pagoda mast style.    Nagato was teh flagship of Admiral Yamamoto during the attack on Pearl Harbour.    Mutus was lost when her aft magazine exploded in June 1943.    Nagato survived the war and was expended as a target of American Nuclear weapon tests.    This model comes in several parts. The hull is a single piece with the cranes and turrets being separate.    Please note I'm not an expert in 3d-printing so my pre-supported files may not be perfect/ the best and have been included as a request.   The model is designed in 1/1800 scale but prints at 1/2400 perfectly.    We have tested a few of our designs at two additional scales: 1/3000 and 1/1200 which have all turned out really well. At 1/3000 scale though some components are very small and require additional patience when assembling.
