Remix of Vilcoyote77 7.62x39 50rds box, but it has been heavily modified.
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4104794

I have also uploaded a 10 round box. You can find that here - https://www.printables.com/model/304244-65-grendel-10-round-ammo-box

Unfortunately this will likely cost you more in material that it would be to buy an MTM cartridge box, but there aren't any MTM boxes that fit 6.5 Grendel well. 7.62x39mm is the same in case diameter and case length, but Grendel is often loaded longer.

Designed to use as little material as possible, but it will take a long time to print still, so I wanted to make it sturdy enough that it won't break, requiring a reprint.

I made it large enough so that you should be able load long enough for the bullet to touch the lands, and still have the ammo fit in the box. SAAMI spec or factory ammo will fit with a good amount of room to spare. You could also cut some foam to put in the lid to keep the ammo from rattling.

Fired (or prepped/primed) shell casings will sit lower than live rounds, but internal supports will hold the case at the taper, so you will still be able to grab the rim to pull them out.

I will post the 50 round box after I confirm the modifications on the latest version.

My Odysee page - https://odysee.com/@Suburban:1

Print Settings

Printer brand:
Creality

Printer:
Ender 3

Supports:
Yes, box only

Resolution:
0.28-0.32mm

Infill:
65%

Filament brand:
Overture

Filament color:
Grey

Filament material:
PETG

Notes:
Scale to 10% for printing in millimeter scale. Light-colored PETG suggested, as PLA can warp in the sun.

If you set the walls/top/bottom to around 1.2mm, it won't matter much what infill you use. I use 20% cubic infill, but I think even that is overkill.

Suggest support everywhere for the shell holder. Print shell holder bottom down on the build plate, with the holes up. If you are confident about your bridging though, do what you want.

If you print the lid with the closed end down, you don't need supports. See photos.
