A cult of backstabbing serpentine humanoids called the Najash live here. De-evolved from several humanoid races, the Najash consider themselves blessed by the Eye of the serpent that lays hidden deep beneath the ziggurat. When they’re stranded in the Valley of Ventris, the PCs must first secure the pyramid before fighting the Eye of the Serpent’s guardian to gain access to what the Najash call the promised land below before they, too, de-evolve fully into Najash…Eye of the serpent is the second part of the Mini Monster Mayhem campaign, but it can also be played as a self-contained module for four 2nd-level characters.
