6 GoPro 360 Camera Rig

This is a remix of @friloba's 360 video gopro rig (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:786705) - Thank you @friloba! I've reused his E.Single_case and E.Single_lever components and designed a different core that is a square cube instead of rectangular with slots that are easier to position the cases in. You will need to print one core, six single cases, and six single levers, then glue the cases onto the core cube; the circles are where the GoPro lenses should align. You will need one 1/4-20 hex nut (or threaded insert) for the tripod mount, and six 4-40 (imperial) or M3 (metric) nuts/threaded inserts with corresponding 10mm long thumb screws to fasten the levers to the cases. Use the soldering technique to melt the nuts into the plastic. Update v19 In an attempt to make the core lighter and use less material, I've hollowed out the middle, with the possible risk of reducing the strength of the joints. Let me know which core you prefer. Update v20 Cube Core In trying to make the rig more compact (and easier to print without having to print and remove supports) I created a simple 35mm cube core (see 6GoProRig-Mars-Core-Cube-v20.stl). It is just a bit of a brain teaser to figure out the proper arrangement of the six Single Cases on each side of the cube core. This cube core shaves off 3mm from the center on each side. I printed the cube core with 10% infill. With the cube core, you will need to also print the separate stem for the tripod mount: (see 6GoProRig-Mars-Stem.stl) Bottomless Single Cases Further, I modified the Single Case to remove the bottom layer (see 6GoProRig-Mars-Single-Bottomless-v10.stl). You can use this with any one of three cores: the 6GoProRig-Mars-Core-v18.stl or 6GoProRig-Mars-Core-v19.stl for a rig that is 3mm smaller on each side, and using this with the cube core reduces 6mm on each side. I used at least 25% infill on these new Single Cases.
