I needed to replace a couple old drain covers that I had. They were cast iron and no matter what I did with them they would rust with time.

I found some 6x6 Bell Trap Drain's by Oatey online, picked one up, and it inspired me to make a printable copy :)

Should fit over an 1-1/2" Inch drain

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

Yes

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

Doesn't Matter

Infill:

Higher the better

Filament: Doesn't Matter ABS/Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate

Notes:

I'd recommend printing in ABS or even something as strong as Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate, especially if it's going to be driven over a lot or be used outside. The higher the infill the better it will hold up.
Supports are needed for printing BellTrapDrain.stl, but not needed for DrainTop.stl. I'd recommend to print the BellTrapDrain.stl with the top facing up so it's easier to take off the supports and is smoother inside. DrainTop.stl can be printed face down with no supports needed.

Category: Replacement Parts
