I've never liked how baffles look in a recessed light fixture - I prefer how the retrofit LED fixtures look. However, put these lights in in my basement where I painted the ceiling black so I wanted black trim on the fixture. Unfortunately I couldn't find any kits with black trim to match the ceiling from brands that I would be confident had truly flicker free lights. So I designed these to work instead.
