About a year ago I started my BSc mechanical engineering and I thought it was about time to better my skills in modelling and rendering. My trusty old bassguitar seemed to be a fun first project!I did not feel like dis- and reassembling my bassguitar so some electronics and internal parts weren't drawn (correctly). However I did add truss rods, working tuners, battery and some other things.I'm not completely happy about the neck. it's not supposed to include a sudden angle, however it was an early mistake and I did not feel like doing over. Other than that, I couldn't figure out what trussrod is used in this bass and the wormwheel for the tuners. Lastly SolidWorks did not allow me to make roundwound strings by twisting a sweep (max. 100 revolutions).In the future I'd like to get some better renders but for my first time, I believe I did a fine job.
