6 Way Fountain Nozzle for fish pond etc. Mounts to 1/2" copper pipe or similar. Inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:754563 - My design does not need to be printed in 2 parts and requires no support. A raft however is probably a good idea, especially if you do not have a heated bed. I did find this was splashing too much for the pot pond I have, so I created http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2170816 to address that issue. If the nozzles get blocked just put a 5mm twist drill down them to clean them out - super easy... Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 1 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm layers Notes: Printed quite well using the raft - base is narrow, so raft really is a good idea. Could improve resolution going to smaller layers - would probably help water flow as it is transverse to the layer lines. Used 2 outer shells and 20% infill and worked fine for me. How I Designed This Using the appearance of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:754563 I created a similar model using Fusion 360, adding an extra nozzle and maximum internal angle of 45 degrees to permit printing as a single piece with no support on almost all printers. Not sure of the pressure I would be submitting this to I used 4mm wall widths across the board, which is certainly overkill for my pump, but you could handle mains pressure without problem I think. Nozzles are 5mm, but I think I could redesign with 6 or 7mm nozzles to reduce likelihood of goop blocking a nozzle. Finer layers also would assist reduction of buildup.
