<p>My Newtonian Telescope design featuring a 4.5inch 114mm mirror shown here with a 900mm focal length. Super simple to build and designed with so many adjustments there are no mistakes you can't compensate out of the system. Uses very little filament and only commonly available fasteners. You could do without this by attaching your optics directly to the side of the telescope and focusing by adjusting the front nuts to move the secondary mirror back and forward. I've also included a small split socket (nutdriver.stl) to make adjustments less tedious as you build the telescope. The main mirror should be glued to "pivot.stl". It can then be aimed using the three bolts on the back of the mirror mount. "Pivot.stl" is best printed in TPU for compliance but PLA should also work.</p> Category: Physics & Astronomy
