Few mechs are as deserving of their name as the BattleMaster. When the BLR-1G BattleMaster was introduced, it was one of the largest and most fearsome mechs ever built. These two traits still hold true in the Inner Sphere to this day. However the 85 ton assault mech was difficult to build and maintain, leading to several variants based on the original BattleMaster chassis. The BLR-1D and BLR-1S are perfect examples of this.
