6mm Roman and Enemy Forces

A 6mm / 1:300 model of a 1:1 roman century testudo on a 40mm by 20mm base i have uploaded the rest of the 1:1 roman , allies and enemies bases , all infantry are on 40 x20mm bases while cavalry are on 40 x 30mm bases , you will find roman legionaries , bow and spear auxiliaries and roman cavalry together with enemy horse archers , armoured cavalry and cataphracts , the intent of this range is to be able to fight large ancient battles at a 1:1 ratio , at present i have focused on 1st - 2nd Century in the easter part of the empire against the Parthians and will add further bases as time allows If you want a full Roman Legion at 1:1 just print 66 roman legion bases together with 6 bases of roman cavalry (which are based with 30 troopers) The enemy cavalry are based in units of 20 figures for light and open armoured cavalry while the cataphracts are based with 40 figures per base I have added 48 figure heavy warband and a 24 figure light warband or skirmish archers
