Students will participate in a PBL (project based learning assignment) to create a scaled model using TinkerCad and print using a 3D printer. "The local parks and recreation has asked for a water retention reservoir that holds 192 cubic meters of water. This is equal to about 51,000 gallons. The water will be used to irrigate the nearby parks and conserve/store rainwater. Your objective is to create a scaled prototype in millimeters for the shape of a holding tank that equals 192 cubic meters. You will also need to show the 192 cubic meters of water (two interlocking shapes; as shown in the example). Use the requirements below - available in the PDF in ThingFiles - to formulate a presentation using a 3D Printed Model to the local parks and recreation department."
