A tablet holder, custom-designed to fit my "Prestigio Multipad 7.0 HD+" tablet (generic Android tablet). Should be fairly straightforward to customize to other sizes.

This model should print cleanly without supports, but adhesion help (brim/raft) may be needed due to the length of the footprint. I recommend printing in PLA, not ABS.

Print Settings

Printer:

Hictop Prusa Mendel i3 clone

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.3mm

Infill:

20%

Notes:

Printing with brim in ABS failed due to lifting. Printing with brim in PLA seems to be working. This model should be able to print cleanly without supports and should fit in a standard Hictop Prusa i3 clone or similar.
Brim or other adhesion solution recommended due to large footprint.
How I Designed This

Designed in SketchUp. Most techniques used are probably self-evident; the Offset tool was used to hollow out the side support arches.

Category: Tablet
