My daughter cut something similar in cardboard but it was hard to use and kept falling apart. I made three of these, and they work well. They make great gifts for birthday parties. They are simple to use: Knot one end of all 7 strands of string. Feed the untied ends of all strings up from the bottom. (top has the curved hole bottom is flat) It may be helpful to tape the ends to do this. I usually just twist them together and it goes. Pull the strands each out and pull them each down into a seperate notch. there should be one notch open. Choose a direction (clockwise or counter clockwise) skip two strands and take the third. Move it to the open notch. Continue to skip two and take the third going in the same direction. For best results, keep tension on the strings and the knot/bracelet coming out the bottom. Every few times around, you may need to twist each strand before putting it in a notch, this will depend on the direction the string was manufactured vs the direction you choose. Please enjoy.
