I wanted a ring light for my nozzle.. A little searching on EBAY revealed a 70mm OD circular pcb designed for making DIY "Halo" headlights. I ordered up a set and made this holder to clip on my X carriage. The LEDS on this board are 5050 package size. Instructions Print, use 2x sided tape or zip ties to hold on the ring light PCB and clip the assembly on the X carriage over the bearings. This is designed to fit my 5mm thick variant of gregFrosts lm8uu X carriage. Its stronger! However it will still fit the normal 3mm thick version, but with a little vertical slop. The 123d file is included to allow for modifications.
